Kevin Leiper Begins New Operations Management Role

July 13, 2026

Francois Offshore Catering is delighted to announce that Kevin Leiper, formerly Business Development Lead, has moved into an International Operations Manager role, joining the operations management team and bringing together his offshore catering background, commercial experience and strong understanding of client operations.

In his new role, Kevin will work closely with offshore teams, clients and suppliers to support service delivery, strengthen relationships and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Why are you excited about this role?

I’m excited to step into an International Operations Manager role as it gives me the opportunity to combine my commercial experience with the delivery side of the business.

Over the past five years with Francois Offshore Catering and the wider Northern Marine Group, I’ve had the opportunity to build strong relationships with clients and develop a clear understanding of their operational requirements and challenges. I’m now looking forward to playing a more direct role in supporting our teams and helping ensure we continue to deliver the high standards of service and quality that Francois Offshore Catering is known for.

It is an exciting challenge and a fantastic opportunity for both personal and professional growth.

What experience will you bring to the role?

I bring first-hand experience of offshore catering environments, alongside many years working in the North Sea sector. This has given me a practical understanding of the importance of delivering high-quality catering services in demanding operational settings.

I also have more than 18 years’ experience in the commercial and craft food manufacturing industry, which has provided a strong operational foundation. More recently, my five years in business development with Francois Offshore Catering have given me valuable insight into client needs, contract management and the commercial drivers behind successful service delivery.

Bringing together offshore, operational, manufacturing and commercial experience gives me a well-rounded perspective, which I look forward to applying in my new role as International Operations Manager.

What will be your main focus in the immediate period?

My immediate priority will be to work closely with our offshore catering teams, particularly those supporting the international clients I am responsible for, to gain a deeper understanding of the operational landscape and build on the excellent work already being delivered across the business.

I will be focused on supporting our catering teams, maintaining the high standards of service our clients expect and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. A key part of this will be looking at ways to work smarter and more efficiently, including streamlining processes, improving communication and ensuring resources are used effectively while maintaining high standards of service and compliance.

Being visible and engaged offshore will also be important to me. I look forward to spending time with our teams and clients, strengthening relationships, understanding challenges first-hand and identifying opportunities to enhance performance and customer satisfaction.

I will also continue to work closely with our suppliers, whose support and partnership are critical to the success of our operations. By collaborating with our teams, clients and suppliers, I hope to contribute to the continued growth, efficiency and success of Francois Offshore Catering.
